Didn't see any OBD 2 software on Pirate Bay and the free OBD II software is outdated. So for you people that need to fix your car, find out if a mechanic is ripping you off, or pass emissions testing here's OBD2 software for ELM interfaces. WORKS With ALL VEHICLES 1990+ With a port - OBDII ports are mandatory on all vehicles 1995+ in most countries - Chances are your vehicle will have an OBD port - Works with most OBD interfaces - Use ELM327 interface to be safe as I've tested it with it - $20 for a ELM327 interface with or without bluetooth any more then that is a RIPOFF - Buy carefully and search on amazon -------------------------------------------------------- ScanXL Features From the website: Vehicle Manager Virtual Dashboards Drag Strip and Dyno DTC OBD Trouble Codes Data Logging Test Results ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wtf are you reading this for? Get it it's free. Any problems? Comment below.
Tried to install. Patch flashed briefly but does nothing. Entered information in "Instructions" but nothing. Any suggestions?
When I run the Patch.exe file, a DOS window briefly opens , states "Program too big to fit into memory" and then closes.
(Computer is running Windows 7 and has 4 gigs of RAM)
Need help, suggestions.

1. Run the patch as an administrator
2. Make sure scanxl is properly installed.
3. Check memory usage
If it still doesn't work install scanxl in a Virtual OS or sandbox. Patch.exe SHOULD NOT be opening up a DOS window. Check to see if you downloaded the torrent properly.

Integrated DRM spoofs the readings. This isn't cracked very well. Google it.
Works great thanks
Download the latest exe,and use only patch

hardox_400 is correct, I can verify that it works (3.5.1 2770).
@micnor14 I haven't had any spoof readings and I've been using this for more than a year. Some people have told me they had problems. The only working solution for 99% of the people was to set their clock to the year 2002. If this works search of runasdate and download that so you can click to set and unset the clock. This was all tested and done by the people having problems and worked.
I'm glad it works for those versions, I put the version inside the torrent just in case the patch does not work on the newer versions.
Thanks for the feedback

@JimmayN - Works great. Many thanks!
No problem, have fun fixing up your cars.
when i enter the information to log in, it says: "the license information you entered is not valid!" a little help please? =)
Run the patch as an administrator and click "Patch"
The patch is being identified as malware by Norton and automatically removed. The rest of the program downloads fine. Please advise.
any chance you can get a patch for dyno-scan demo? http://www.auterraweb.com/downloads.html
@dakine9999 The program gets flagged because it cracks another program (scanXL). Any program that does this is known as a patcher and is not allowed by an antivirus. If you don't trust the patch run it in a sandbox or virtual OS. Otherwise you can temporarily disable your anti-virus or add an exception.
@hpfr33k ScanXL is better. It's not worth cracking that program.

Do i just need to buy a USB to OBD2 cable and run this software to scan my codes?
something like

Do i just need to get a USB OBD cable and use this software to see why my check engine light is on?
I got it installed successfully. For those of you who have larger text enabled, put it back to small for the crack to work (you can't see the crack button otherwise).
Here is the problem I am having. It doesn't work correctly. It's not just me, I had 3 people try it with different cars and different USB devices. It seems to read trouble codes correctly, but the live data (RPM, Speed, Fuel trims, etc) went crazy and all over the place. For instance with the car off the RPM will go to crazy values. Same thing with it on. OBDwiz doesn't do this, nor does Dash Command (with a different module).
Any ideas? Using the version contained in the torrent.

I bought this USB V1.5 ELM327 OBD2 for $9.73 on Ebay and it works fine with the program.
I did not get a patch in my download and the regestration info says incorrect
@urmaj I've tested this on an ELM 327 interface so I don't know if it will work with that cable in the link you provided. Any generic elm327 interface should work, search amazon there's tons for cheap. Make sure to check the reviews.
@breeves2 it seems that a few people are having this problem. I personally I have no problem with the live data, I use the DashXl guages and with live recording and everything is on par. Try following the steps I posted above with setting your clock backwards.
@gsallor your anti-virus is probably auto deleting the file. View my previous post about anti-viruses and it will have the solution there.
